Bearbiscuit started their national tour on July 2nd and already we have concert footage... 49 minutes and 49 seconds of it!  Looks like they're playing a tiny venue in Xi'an and the crowd is loving it.   It's all very casual and fun.  Now if youku would just buffer past 6:37....*&^%$mother of pearl!

Who knew 阿修罗 Ashura was still active?  I didn't.  I guess they've been through a rough time.  I read this on their new douban page - "2006年夏天的人员变故几乎毁掉了这个乐队" (The summer of 2006's personnel misfortune nearly destroyed this band).  Maybe that has something to do with Yoyo leaving the band.  In any case, here they are performing the title track from ( Read more... )

大家好!  So here's a fun clip to brighten your Monday.  It's Taiwanese indie bands, Orange Grass & Silverbus, playing together about 2 weeks ago.  (The poor guitarist from Silverbus is relegated to the tambourine.  He keeps shaking it til the end though, through all the feedback lol.)

Meanwhile in Shanghai the lead singer of 羽果乐队 Yu Guo kicked off their new cd release tour with pneumonia.  He went straight from the concert back to the hospital for an IV drip.  Poor guy.  And now they start touring.  From reading fan's comments I learned how to say:
